- Install, configure, service, and troubleshoot integrated AV, networking, lighting, shading, control, and other home automation systems
- Interpret project blueprints and system schematics to execute installations accurately
- Participate in site setup, rack buildouts, cable/panels/low-voltage terminations (as needed), and final system acceptance with clients
- Maintain remote access, monitoring, and service protocols for deployed systems; proactively support client systems for reliability and serviceability
- Act as the on-site point of contact for clients, designers, builders, and architects
- Ensure clean, code-compliant, and high-performance installations
- Stay up to date on smart home industry trends, new integrations, and automation best practices
- Mentor and lead junior technicians as needed
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in excellent condition
- Deliver service that meets Daisy’s standards for quality, reliability, safety, and professionalism
- At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience with AV, networking, and smart home technologies
- Mastery of basic wiring/cabling for low-voltage integrated systems (including panels, and junction boxes); electrician’s license preferred
- Ability to perform system configuration, calibration, programming, testing, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency with Control4 systems; experience with Savant, Crestron, Josh is a plus
- Industry certifications (CEDIA, AVIXA, manufacturer certifications, etc.) preferred
- Proficiency with Lutron products and installation
- Positive, customer-focused attitude, professional work ethic, and strong leadership, communication, problem solving, and customer service skills, with the ability to lead projects and mentor others
- Motivated to learn new technologies and processes
- Physically capable of lifting, kneeling, and climbing
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
